- Please
remove your shoes upon entering the building. Bring socks to
walk around if you prefer.
- Wear
comfortable, non-restrictive, exercise-type clothing and plan to be
barefoot during class.
- Practice
is best on an empty stomach. Please refrain from eating 1-3
hours before class.
- Drink plenty of water the day
of your practice, but not immediately before class.
- Plan
to arrive 10-15 minutes before class to sign in and prepare for
class. Punctuality is appreciated by all teachers and
students.
- Bring
valuables with you into the studio but make sure they are clear of your
mat. Cubbies are provided just outside of each studio for
other
belongings.
- Turn OFF
cellphones and pagers in the studio, or better yet, for the safety of
your nervous system, do not bring them in with you!
- Inform your teacher if you
have any injuries or are pregnant.
- Consider
bringing a towel and water to class.
- Always
bring towel(s) and water to HOT classes!
- It is ALWAYS appropriate to
slow down, back off, take a rest and/or watch class if you want or need
to.
- Changing rooms &
showers are available. Please be considerate of other yogis
when using these facilities.
- Mats
are provided for use during class--to borrow or purchase--however,
bringing your own mat is encouraged.
- Drop in for any class, no
reservations are required.
